Xray of Harvey's spine 2/14

For months, we have wondered why Harvey had been in such tremendous pain.  The x-ray says it all.  L3 & L4 vertebrae are severely deteriorated on outer R edges, his left side.  The doctor told us, enlarged lymph nodes in this area were creating pressure against raw, exposed nerves.

  1. Nice spine there, Harvey! Ooooh it feels good to call you Harvey instead of President Greer -- but I would only dare do that from a safe distance. I recall a youth river float that ended at Ancil Hoffman park (I think) where we had a youth vs. leader water fight. I thought I got the best of President Greer as I plastered him with a water balloon and escaped in my 64 VW bug. He outsmarted me, and outran the bug, and poured a bucket of water through the sun roof - and got the last laugh.

Speedy recovery and best wishes to you Harvey, and hello to all the Greers - and especially my dear friend Dianna (who better call me next time she's in town so we can get together for a lunch or something . . .) -- Dave Petersen

  3. Dear Uncle Harvey,
Thanks for keeping us up to date on your progress. We wish that we could be closer. You are such a handsome chap, hair or no hair. However, I must this image of your spine doesn't do you justice. Ouch, and ouch! I wish you a smooth and speedy recovery. Hugs and love going your direction.
